Repair Work to Exterior Ducting and Flue

The exterior ductwork and flue of this extraction system was in need of some repair/ replacement work. This was due to a large tree falling onto the property. This system was one of our installs so, naturally, we were keen to get it back to its former glory.

Our engineers attended site post accident to asses the damage and cost for repairs. Only the exterior parts of the system were in need of replacement so once the roof repairs were completed, we set to work.

The repair work to this extraction system spanned 2 days. The system was back to its former look quite quickly.

This project is at our clients home. He has recently fitted out an exciting indoor/outdoor kitchen featuring a hog roast and wood burning oven which is where our systems come in. The system is fully detachable from the equipment so, should the weather allow, the equipment can be taken outside to use.

Fan Replacement – Flakt Woods

Replacement Flakt Woods extractor fan, roof cowl supplied and installed. Fan replacement.
New extractor fan installed in Cleethorpes along with roof hood to prevent rain damage.

A recent fan replacement. Our client in Cleethorpes, North East Lincolnshire contacted us as their existing Flakt Woods extractor fan was no longer working. Our client was also not happy with the current fan, installed by a previous owner, as it was too powerful for his kitchens needs.

We sourced a fan replacement of the same size that was still compatible with his system. We were able to come out and install this within a couple of days. A roof hood vent was also required as rain was getting in to the system. The dome shape of the new hood pictured prevents rain being able to get in to the system whilst also providing adequate air flow.
